Today I learned....
The difference between 1 mph can be huge when you are pulling a trailer (57 mph, fine... 58, fishtail).
Semi trucks will pass me a lot on this trip. (except up long hills, my Xterra seems to pass them eventually... but they always pass me back on the downhill or straight away)
Ummmm... there were other things I was thinking of as I was driving... should've tried to write them down :) Just kidding! Although I have taken some pretty cool pictures... don't worry I slow down.
Oh, yeah... I remember something else... my Xterra will kick itself out of cruise control when it can't handle staying at this speed (I discovered this when I forgot to take it off before going up a hill) Pretty cool feature to protect my engine I'm sure!
Well, I know this is short but I need to rest a bit before the girls come back. Tomorrow I drive to Las Cruces, NM to stay with another friend, and then Saturday I will be driving to Round Rock! Please pray for me, as it is definitely boring being by myself and time surely drags when you can only drive between 30-57 mph! Pray that I stay alert and that I have the energy to complete each days drive, as I haven't reserved any hotel rooms!

Heather- My mom will be so jealous. She has been trying to get Carl and I to move to Round Rock for 2 years now. Praying for your safety. How exciting for you, I am sure God has amazing plans for you in TX. Although I will miss your annual Christmas visit.

I joined curves on thursday and love it! Went again yest as they are closed for 3 days and both times talked a lot w/ Tracy. She designs kitchens. . .do you see the connection here??? Pray the Lord can use me in her life. And it all makes my back feel better! Yea! You and your mom made a great impression on her -PTL

No, she just wishes she did. All of her cousins live in TX and she visits every year.
