I have a Temporary Job! :)

Today I got hired for a temporary Data Entry position!!!

The job should last about a month... which doesn't seem like a long time to the average person... but when you haven't worked daily in over 6 months it's HUGE!

I got the interview because of Bob who is in my Small Group Bible Study on Sunday nights.  He works for the company, and he mentioned to me Sunday that they were going to hire someone temporary to do some data entry for them.  He knew it wasn't really my "field" but, since I am unemployed, he knew I needed income.  So, he emailed me the info on Monday, I called Monday afternoon and set up the interview for Tuesday afternoon... and this morning I got called and offered the job. 

A  GINORMOUS weight came off my shoulders just to know that I would have 1 month of guaranteed hours.  Of course this means that I won't be able to sub (except for one job that I had already accepted)... but with TAKS (State Testing) and end of the year stuff, there won't be a lot of jobs anyway. 

I feel so blessed to have the number of people who pray for me, and this is a true answer to prayer.  It's not a permanent job, but it's a job... it's a small door, that will hopefully lead to a larger door.  Not quite sure what that larger door will be yet.  But I know that God knows and His plan is always better than mine!
