Since the job fair (which was my last update) the biggest event that happened was my mom came for a 2 week visit. We had so much fun and it went by WAY too fast. I've posted some pictures below (that aren't in chronological order). We went to San Antonio and Fredericksburg the first weekend she was here. We also went downtown Austin for an afternoon. We went to Georgetown her last day here. In between we just hung out and had fun. She spent time on FB, reading, and unpacking boxes at my house while I was at work each night. It was a lot of fun. It made me miss home even more. But I do have to remind myself that God has a plan it is truly evident that I am supposed to be here.
After my mom left I have spent my time working more and so far I've sent out 8 resume's for teaching positions for next year. 7 of them for Pflugerville and 1 for Round Rock. Those are the two districts I've been subbing for this year. Please pray that God will open the door to whatever school I am supposed to be at next year. I definitely can not handle another year of subbing and waitressing. I don't get a lot of sleep when I have to do them back to back. I had 4.5 hours of sleep last night for an example... which isn't good if I'm doing it multiple days. So, I am praying (and please join me) that God will open that door for this coming year... I know this is what He has given me the talent and desire for, so it's just being patient (not my strongest quality...lol) for HIS timing!
Okay, well Steph and Greg are home and I need to let them enjoy the rest of their anniversary without me :) Plus, I have a double shift tomorrow.
So, I will try and post more often! I know I'm horrible at this!
I'm really hoping to make it home next month, or at least at some point this summer!
Love and miss you all A LOT!!!

a couple things:
1) YAY. I like when you update your blog!
2) Pflugerville makes me laugh
3)I miss you!!!!
4) the letters I have to type on the word verification say phlarp. That makes me laugh too.
I was thinking the same thing recently, just didn't take time to write to you. Still praying for your job. We are getting settled in Redondo Beach, trying to fit our stuff in our little house. We sold/got rid of half our stuff before we moved into Edna's and we only brought about half of what was left. Still doesn't fit - and we bought a storage unit to use for a pantry (something Dan can use later in the garage if we move to something bigger - I should say WHEN). But loving being together again. We have spent some time with Liz & Gregg and will see Star Trek with them tomorrow. I'll start looking for a job in a week or so. I keep putting it off...loving the time off. Glad to see you're still alive. :)
